The First Working Visit, one of our project’s international activities, took place between 15 and 18 April 2025 in the Lithuanian cities of Kaunas and Mazeikiai.

The delegation, led by Kocaeli Deputy Governor and YİKOB President İsmail Gültekin, consisted of representatives from the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, Kandıra Food Specialised Industrial Zone, TÜPRAŞ, and a young participant who is a student at KOSTÜ.

During the visit, nine different institutions in the cities of Kaunas and Mazeikiai, Lithuania, were visited, including local government (municipality), chamber of industry and commerce, university, non-governmental organisation, and industrial organisations, and ideas were exchanged on possible cooperation opportunities between Kocaeli and Kaunas and Mazeikiai.

The second working visit of the project will take place in Kocaeli on 25-27 June 2025, with the Lithuanian delegation visiting Türkiye.
