As part of our project’s international activities, a delegation from Lithuania conducted a working visit to Kocaeli and Istanbul between 26 and 28 June 2025.

The delegation included representatives from project partners Mazeikiai District Municipality and the Baltic Institute of Educational Technology, as well as Kaunas District Municipality, ORLEN Oil Refinery, NorDan, a company manufacturing aluminium windows and doors, and a student from Kaunas Technical University representing youth.

During the three-day working visit, the Lithuanian delegation held meetings at the Kocaeli Governor’s Office, TÜPRAŞ İzmit Refinery, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, Kocaeli Chamber of Commerce, Kocaeli University, MEXT Ataşehir Technology Development Centre, Turkish Chemical Manufacturers Association, Gebze V. Chemical Specialised Organised Industrial Zone (GEBKİM), and Plastifay Chemical Industry Inc.
